I know many of you suffer as I do from deer browsing. Deer have adopted my yard here in DC and I'm not exactly happy about it. So some of the plants on this list are based on observations in my yard.

Additionally, most Carex are considered a species that deer do not like. (They, indeed, do not touch mine.)

Being on this list is not a guarantee that deer will not eat these plants. It's only a guide. Moreover, the reality is your experience will vary based on how hungry the deer are.
