Grasses and sedges are a beautiful, graceful addition to any garden. Often waving in the breeze to greet you, some grasses are large enough to function as specimen plants or shrubs. Some are diminutive forming ground covers, and are excellent edging plants. No matter what, they are an excellent textural element in any garden. 

Grasses and grass like plants are an ecosystem rebuilding must! Many provide winter protection for animals and birds, they also provide hollow stems for insects to overwinter, nest building materials for birds and more.
