Tanya’s Take I have not grown this native cultivar but my experience with the straight species is that it is an adaptable and beautiful late season pollinator magnet. 

Pollinators served Like many of its relatives, is a preferred nectar source for many butterfly species.

Is it a bully? Nope. Gracefully mounded habit.  Can gently self sow if in perfect conditions.

Should you give this plant a try? Asters are tried and true late season performers with abundant glorious blooms that beckon butterflies, bees and beetles galore.
