Last year we hydroponically forced specialty tulips...it was a huge success! Farmers market customers were amazed by the variety and quality of the blooms. Several told me tulips were their favorite time of year! (LOL).

So this year we're launching, for the first time ever, subscriptions!

This is scary for us...specialty tulips bulbs are expensive and all the costs are up front. But we're embracing the risk and looking for the win-win. You get amazing winter tulips (which means flowers from us year round!), and you help our business survive (and hopefully thrive) through the winter when we don't grow outside.

From over 600 years of breeding, specialty tulips will be the brightest spot in your world in the middle of winter's brown and white chilly cold. Literally changing in the vase every day, tulips are a journey to enjoy. These are not grocery store tulips, my flower friend!

THE DETAILS

The Winter Delight Subscription is a once a week bunch of specialty tulips for 6 weeks.

Pick up days are Wednesdays: January 14, 21, 28, February 4, 11 and 18

Pick up is in Takoma at 808 Aspen St NW DC 20012

Our growing space is petite - subscriptions are limited

Flowers are not sprayed with pesticides, fungicides or herbicides

Grown in Petworth and/or Takoma DC

SUBSCRIPTION PICK UP IS ON WEDNESDAYS

Subscriptions are at the pick up locations on Wednesdays starting in the early AM. You will get a text when they have arrived at your pick up point.

You just drop in, initial that you've picked up and grab your favorite!

WHAT IF I CAN'T PICK UP?

You can always have someone else pick up for you...we keep things easy!

Also, it's not uncommon for people to split a subscription if you know you can't make all the dates.

If you don't pick up, your bouquet will be donated. It won't be wasted.

We like to be accommodating but we're very small. Administratively handling skipped weeks is too much for us. We hope you understand.

IMPORTANT: CHECK OUT IS FROM ONE LOCATION ONLY AT THIS TIME

Please note, when you check out you can only do with products from one location at a time.

Example: if you add a product picking up from Petworth and then a product picking up from Takoma, Shopify will not allow you to complete checkout.

To resolve this, select all Takoma products and pay. Then add all Petworth products and pay.
