Daffodil Bulbs - 'Poeticus recurvus' or Pheasant's Eye Daffodil

There is an entire world of specialty daffodils...which are also commonly referred to as Narcissus.

Pheasant’s Eye Daffodil blooms are unique, pure white petals surrounding a small, golden-yellow cup with a vivid red rim. This late spring bloomer is powerfully fragrant. Also an excellent perennializer, when happy returning year after year with expanding clumps of blooms.  This is an heirloom variety that has been cultivated for hundreds of years and has won the RHS Award of Garden Merit. It is 12 to 14 inches in height.

This narcissus, unlike it's cousins, prefers a prefers a moist, well drained soil and would do better in rain gardens or damp areas. It is deer and rabbit resistant. They do well in full sun to part shade.

These are priced by the bulb so you can try just one if you like!
