Solidago caesia - BLUE-STEMMED GOLDENROD

Sale price$3.75

Tanya’s Take I have not grown this Solidago but it seems cool. Arching blue-green stems and yellow flowers in the shade. I'm going to give it a try for sure. I mean, I don't do these sales just so everyone else gets to have fun trying plants!

As with many goldenrod varieties, it's not commonly found in nurseries but that's more because it's charms are not well known. In fact, with this plant there is not even agreement on the web on the basics: some sites list it as full sun, some full shade. This just means people like us need to plant it and see how it behaves. Let's give it a go!

Pollinators served Native bees, wasps and pollinating flies seek nectar and pollen from the flowers. Plants host caterpillars of several moth species.
